The eagles have kept their promise to come in large numbers with 7,000 arriving so far this year.
The location is a biological wonder with an intricate web of life that is able to sustain a healthy and resilient environment for one of the most important eagle feedng grounds in the world. All five of the provinces salmon spawn here and in a one day count from December 2010 the destination drew 5,200 eagles.
The river boat tour offers education on the ancient sacred Sasquatch with educators and guides sharing their rich culture while viewing the eagles..
This Cross Cultural tour program is located an hour and a half east of Vancouver on the Harrison River focuses on the meaning of salmon and importance of Salmon people and their cultural significance. The group will visit the longhouse for a salmon barbecue lunch and demonstration of the preparation and traditional cooking using the unique wood fire technique.
